A. Cooling fan start-up test

1, start voltage: open the switch “ON”, can start the DC fan operation voltage.

2, locking current: the fan can be locked, locking current in the fresh air in the locking machine for 3 minutes to determine.

3, noise standard: noise standard test reference DIN45635 standard, measurement in a soundproof room, the microphone will be placed in the DC fan one meter away.

4, air flow data and pressure data measured according to the “AMCA standard” or DIN24163 rules, the data measured in the double pressure chamber, and need to measure the pressure data on each side of the pressure chamber.

5， Speed: The speed is measured after 3 minutes of continuous rotation.

6，Current: Current is measured after 3 minutes of continuous rotation.

7, input power: input power measured after 3 minutes of continuous rotation.

B. Cooling fan protection test

1, rotating body locking protection

a. Several fan blades connected to a fixed restriction on its rotation, if the fan and electronic components will not be damaged, restriction on the rotation of the component is loosened then the fan can automatically restart the rotation.

b. Small current or fan with Auto start function, the fan fan blades will be locked in the rotating state of power on, after 72 hours, release the locked fan blades, the fan will automatically restart immediately, proving that there is no abnormality in the fan.

c. High-current or fans without Auto start function should not be locked for a long time, otherwise the fan will be overheated and damaged.

2. Polarity protection

Under normal voltage conditions, if the fan is energized by reversing the power supply for 15 minutes, and then reconnected to the normal polarity after power failure, all functions will be normal.

3. Insulation impedance

Under the condition of 500V DC, the resistance of the outer frame and the positive pole of the wire is not less than 10MΩ.

4. Insulation strength

In 5mA leakage current, AC500V conditions for 60 seconds, the fan frame and wire without abnormalities, proving good insulation.

C. The cooling fan floor test

In accordance with the specifications of the cooling fan of different sizes and dimensions, the height of the landing for about 30-50 cm, the benchmark for the landing test is: the three sides of the thickness of ten centimeters fall on a wooden board, the fan is not damaged that is good.
